ANTÓNIO OLAIO

1963, Lubango, Angola. He lives in Coimbra. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Porto in 1987. Doctorate from the University of Coimbra in 2000. He is professor in the Architecture Course, Director of the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra and researcher at the Center for Social Studies. His performances in the 80s led him to music, on a path where the use of various media (painting, drawing, video, music) stems from a strong relationship with performance. He is represented by Galeria Kubik in Porto.
