ANDRÉ TRINDADE

André Trindade (Oeiras, 1981) develops a critique of the "constructed world", thought as a scenario resulting from precise human decisions, through a heterogeneous artistic practice that crosses sculpture, drawing and sound. With the INDIPENDENT LABELS URUBU and NOSTROMO 1999 has been dedicated to the expansion of the modes of reception of the artistic production, with emphasis on the creation of independent editions (as author and publisher), whose circulation occurs outside conventional means. He graduated in Sculpture from the FBAUL and attended the Maumaus Independent Studies Program. He participates regularly in exhibitions in Portugal (Lumiar Cité, Museum of Electricity) and abroad (Lunds Konsthall, MACUF, Kunsthalle São Paulo, Casabaubou - Berlin).
