BIO:
BEA ACEVEDO lives and works in London. She graduated from the Fine Art Programmes at Goldsmiths University of London, 2016 and East London University, 2013. Recent projects include “Moil Eden”, 2019 and “What’s the Waiting for?”, 2018 at ASC Unit 3 Project Space, London.
PROJECT:
For this residency at Zaratan she took as point of departure the relationship between corporeality and metropolis as outlined by Elisabeth Grosz in her essay ‘Bodies-Cities’. Exploring the skin of the city in its ornamental materiality, Bea Acevedo is reflecting on the porosity and exchange of inorganic and organic skin, each one with its loaded history.
