Guided Tour with João Campolargo Teixeira

February 15, 2026 (6:00 PM)
Free Entry

We invite you to an artist talk with João Campolargo Teixeira regarding his solo exhibition "The Fall," currently on view at Zaratan – Arte Contemporânea.
The conversation will focus on the audiovisual installation ‘thunderword,’ a sensory essay on the fall and the crash that explores the meteorological phenomenon of a thunderstorm. During the meeting, the artist will share the theoretical and formal foundations of the installation, as well as the creative imagery behind the piece, which materializes James Joyce’s monumental onomatopoeia through an asynchronous relationship between light and visceral sound.
Throughout the session, the artist will be available to answer questions from the audience. The event will feature a Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) interpreter.
