Drawing from Zaratan's "Hammer Time 2025" exhibition-auction, this workshop invites children to dive into the exhibition's atmosphere. The event is an opportunity for them to devise a playful micro-investigation into the value of an artwork.
We start with a visit to the exhibition, for the children to observe and appreciate contemporary artistic production, which includes over 80 works by national and international artists.
Next, the children will move on to the phase of constructing their own artworks, where creativity is the focus.
The workshop culminates in a presentation of the works in the form of a make-believe auction. Families are invited to join in to actively participate in this simulated auction with play money, helping to explore the dynamics of bidding. By pantomiming the auction structure, the aim is to introduce the younger public to another view of the art world, showing how art pieces circulate through galleries and museums.
