We present the second session of the INTERFERENCES concert series, curated by Boris Nunes and João Madeira, an unprecedented duo who come from distinct universes to create a space for dialogue between aesthetics, genres, and generations. At each session, their choices intersect on the same stage, bringing together musicians with established careers and younger artists whose artistic maturity is already evident. Alongside this age diversity, the series covers a broad sound spectrum, presenting proposals ranging from jazz and free jazz to electronic, performative, and avant-garde experimentation. With formats varying from solo to quartet, and including national and international musicians, INTERFERENCES is an attempt to map contemporary sound from its margins, creating meeting points between audiences, languages, and sensibilities.
This second session of the cycle will feature performances by ODm_, accompanied by MCs Uno and Jorge Agosto, and by Nuno Rebelo, who will present his brand new and epic 'Cantigas Tugas' project.

About the artists:
ODm_ | Is a beatmaker whose work is built at the confluence of hip hop and electronic music, with the Los Angeles beat scene as his main aesthetic and creative reference. With a discography that includes two beattapes and a collaborative album between beatmakers and MCs, the artist is currently preparing the release of his third beattape, deepening his sound exploration and authorial identity. On stage, ODm_ presents an intense and immersive beatset, in which he fuses tracks from his discography with new creations, offering an experience that oscillates between rhythmic experimentation and the pulsating energy of his musical universe.
NUNO REBELO | Was born in Torres Vedras in 1960. A graduate in Architecture from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa, he dedicated himself exclusively to music from a very early age, being self-taught in this area. During the 80s, he stood out in Pop music, as part of Streetkids; and directing Mler ife Dada (83-89). From 1990 to 92 he directed the instrumental group Plopoplot Pot and, between 93 and 95, the Poliploc Orkeshtra, an ensemble of non-musicians made up of students from Chapitô, which accompanied classic silent films with live music. In 1988 he composed the music for the fashion show Manobras de Maio and, since then, music for films, theater, and contemporary dance. Choreographers such as Steve Paxton and Rui Horta have used Nuno Rebelo's music in their choreographies. He was the author of Pangea (the anthem of Expo 98), the music and sound design for the show Oceanos e Utopias (daily at the Utopia pavilion, at Expo 98), as well as the music for the fireworks show that marked the opening of Porto 2001 European Capital of Culture. He was the author of the advertising jingle for Lx94 - Lisbon European Capital of Culture 1994 (which won the award for best music for advertising that year) and the advertising jingle for the Euro 2004 European Football Championship. At Zaratan, he presents CANTIGAS TUGAS: «One day, the song "Aldeia da roupa branca" (which I never liked) got stuck in my brain and wouldn't leave. I spent almost a week mentally humming the "água fria da ribeira", with the ghost of Beatriz Costa resonating obsessively inside my head. It was fed up - and in a certain desperation - that I decided to start making a guitar arrangement for the song, in order to exorcise it. And so it was. Gradually, I stopped hearing Beatriz Costa's voice and started hearing my own arrangement, which also made me start to like the song, now in the sound of my guitar strings. I didn't know it yet, but thus began, in 2019, this series of arrangements for acoustic guitar of Portuguese songs which I later called "Cantigas tugas". "Cantigas tugas" is therefore an instrumental project, of interpretations on solo acoustic guitar, without overdubs, of Portuguese songs from various eras and origins.»
