Mantrid Drone was born in 2023 out of the ashes of A Besta (2013-2023) and dedicates itself to the path of the most suffocating soundscapes.
Seeking the limits of what's bearable, its releases are done exclusively in tape format, marked by material imperfection and in opposition to the contemporary convenience of sound reproduction. It was born in a dark hole and, by its own volition, it shall remain there.

Harsh Truths are events organized by Mantrid Drone with the aim of spreading anti-music propaganda. Noise, in its most extreme forms, is the only aesthetical focal point.
The first edition, taking place at Zaratan, will walk the more idiosyncratic realms of distortion. Mantrid Drone projects (SLUG with an hour-long set and Y-SECTION for the first time live, presenting the just-released "I Love Myself In Theory, I Touch Myself In Practice") will be joined by ECLIPSE JUGULAR (Porto).
No Art, No Music, Just Noise.
>>>SLUG | Situated at the intersection of the sonic torture associated with Noise and the physical and mental torment of Black Metal, SLUG is a prolonged auditory nightmare, an attempt to replicate the comfort of the scaffold. SLUG is the truth of a gun pointed at one's own head.
>>>ECLIPSE JUGULAR | //Teeth gnash in/the flesh of a vulture struck by lightning///four cuts on the leaf////three in twenty-seven/////who would have thought////angelic choirs in free fall///A piece///when?//
>>>Y-SECTION | Explores the overlap of two inverse black spaces, where muddy chords regurgitate - like an imagined cadaveric being that succeeds through its forgetfulness - odes to their respective voids.
