PERFUSSOM is a cycle of live events between performance, music and poetry. PERFUSSOM follows a nomadic and undisciplined path, proposing the mixing of several expressive languages. With curatorship of Filipe Leote, it happens once a month at Zaratan since 2017.

In this session there will be a projection of a documentary about experimental musician Jimmy Sal and the live debut of the music project Abstrakt Bild (Fernando Fadigas, Miguel Sá and Nuno Moita)

>>> JIMMY SAL | Jimmy Sal is Jaime Salvadinho's alter ego who produces sounds that result from the marriage of improvisation and experimentation with hypnotic and hypnogogic environments. The video portrays this facet and explores the relationship between a man, a guitar and the Alentejo interior. The latter is a source of inspiration, as it is a space that offers itself in freedom; a vast field of possibilities. There are incursions into other territories, further south, more exotic, but the return is inevitable and the journey is above all inland and dreamlike. The sonic themes invite us to participate in a constant dance between dissonance and melody, and it's not always obvious whether they're challenging each other or cooperating. It's chaos turned into structure.
