Johanna Sulkunen + Yedo Gibson/ Gil Gonçalves/ Pedro Melo Alves

We are glad to present two experimental concerts: one by the finnish vocalist Johanna Sulkunen (FI), who is presenting her last project in Lisbon, the other with Yedo Gibson / Gil Gonçalves/ Pedro Melo Alves (BR/PT/PT), that are performing together for the first time at Zaratan.
BIOS:
JOHANNA SULKUNEN
(solo voice + electonic + visuals)
She is a Finnish singer / songwriter living in Copenhagen since 2009 .She has recently edited the album Koan, where the language breaks down into pieces, where lyrics, syllables and words reveal an endless source of sound composition and improvisation. Johanna invites a journey into compositions of various voice layers manipulated and processed with electronics
At Zaratan she presents herself in a duo with the visual artist Tapani Toivanen.

YEDO GIBSON / GIL GONÇALVES/ PEDRO MELO ALVES

Musicians active in the effervescent panorama of improvised music, Yedo Gibson (saxophone), Gil Gonçalves (tuba) and Pedro Melo Alves (drums) perform for the first time in trio. The result promises to be more slippery than the wet floor.
