Crossfade Memory + Nils Meisel

Zaratan - Arte Contemporânea presents two concerts by Crossfade Memory (aka Pedro André) and Nils Meisel. Returning to Porto from Montemor-o-Novo, where they are giving a sound workshop, Lisbon is a sure stop on April 22.

Crossfade Memoryy
It is a project dedicated to the manipulation of sound fragments through mixing and processing strategies from dub and electroacoustics to build a real-time sound landscape. The fragments used for the first version of this project depart from improvisation sessions, studio recording and field recordings held in Berlin.
Nils Meisel
He is a sound designer and musician of Portuguese-German descent now residing in Berlin, now Porto or where the work is called. He has worked mainly in theater and performance. He is interested in exploring the sound phenomenon and experimental composition and improvisation. Fusco is a project dedicated to synthesizers / analog drum machines navigating between minimalist composition and complexity of drones, with very sub-bass and Krautrockian sequences "to" Klaus Schulze.
