«Lápis Azul» is a collective exhibition that reflects on freedom of expression as one of the fundamental achievements of April 25, 1974, raising important questions about the relationship between art and politics. On the one hand, it addresses the ways in which censorship restricts the flow of information, limits public debate and promotes oppression; on the other, possible strategies are explored to get around it: encryption, codes and clandestine circuits.
The exhibition covers a wide variety of media and formats (sculpture, video, installation, sound, among others) and features the participation of an intergenerational group of artists.
