We invite you to a meeting with curators João Viotti and Aurora Nunes, regarding the exhibition ?MÃE?, currently on view at Zaratan. The session will also feature the presence of some of the participating artists.
The meeting will be an opportunity to explore the theoretical and emotional foundations of this project, which investigates the figure of the "Mother" as a primordial source and a site of creation. Through an intergenerational dialogue spanning painting, video, sculpture, and performance, the tour reveals the active collaborative processes that blur the boundaries between art and life.
The session is open to questions from the audience and will include a Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) interpreter.

JOÃO VIOTTI and AURORA NUNES embrace experimentalism and participatory art as the foundation of their practice, developing multidisciplinary projects that challenge the conventional hierarchies of the art world.
